Today's class for the copic OCC class featured blending with greys, to use as a mid tone, when you don't have a mid tone color that would blend well. Here is my practice sheet.
I have to say I need waaaay more practice using grey as a blending tool. I seemed to do better on the coffee cups than the umbrellas. :) Whew!
The greys they used in class were cool greys, all I had were warm greys, I am not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. On the umbrellas, whenever I used grey as a blender I seemed to overblend to get it to do what I wanted it to and then it just looked bad. :(
