OCC-Mask-arade Day 2

Today's class continued techniques using masking paper. I really, really like the technique that Jennifer McGuire demonstrated.  So I attempted to make a card using this technique.  Jennifer created a mask made from a thin piece of plastic.  Cutting a word die from the plastic you can use either the positive or negative mask.  This is the card I made:

I didn't have a large word die as Jennifer did, so I created one from Lawn Fawn's Quinn's ABC's die cuts.  I used the tiny flowers and leaves from Simon Says Stamp Life is a Journey stamp set, to stamp the  'you', from the mask. I also used Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold, and You stamp set.  I really think this is a lovely technique, and I didn't have the time to do it justice, so I will be practicing this more.

Thanks for coming by and I'll be back soon.
