It Has Been Awhile....

I know it has been awhile since I last posted, but the holidays have kept me busy.  I thought I would show you a few cards I made for Christmas that I send to friends and relatives.  I try to make a unique card for each person and that is time consuming. :)  Also I am posting some pics of the gifts that I made for friends and family.

This stamp is  Frostier from Stamping Bella, that I adore.  It is colored in copics and I cut an oval with SSS Stitched Oval dies from patterned paper and laid it over the image.  The sentiment is from SSS Holiday Labels, embossed on vellum with Ranger Platinum embossing powder. This is being entered into Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
I used a Memory Box die for the 'merry' in patterned paper.  The trees are from SSS Be Joyful stamp set, stamped and fussy cut.  The snow slopes are Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders. The sentiment is SSS Essential Greetings embossed in white on black cardstock.

The die is SSS Village.  I blended the background with distress inks and used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders for the hills.  I popped up the buildings in the forefront with foam dots.  The sentiment is from SSS's Holiday Labels, which is embossed on vellum in Ranger Platinum. I die cut the front with SSS Oval Stitched dies.  I added a small snowflake from Paper Smooches diecut from patterned paper. Lastly I added a few sequins to the sky. This is being entered into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Also I worked on these projects:

Made 3 of these trees as gifts.  My husband made the trees, I painted and I decorated with jingle bells and Kelly Purkey stickers.  The bases are small flower pots painted in blackboard paint and decorated with hand drawn stars in Sharpie paint pens.
These are made from tin cookie cutters, you can use any shape really.  I cut patterned paper and glued to the back and added embellishments inside the cutter.  These turned out so cute, I made to give to friends and family.
These are Gift Card holders I made from A1 envelopes.  The tutorial is online at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9e0BE-lRQZE.
The tutorial is for an A2 envelope, but you can adjust measurements for the A1 envelope.  I liked this size better.
I made like 12 of these mugs for family and friends.  I bought the mugs online and then realized I needed more and bought some from Target.  The stencil is self adhesive and I painted with enamel paint.  Very easy and I love how they came out.

So back to making cookies, wrapping gifts and getting ready for my Christmas Eve party.  Everyone have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
