Challenges

Paper Smooches February Challenges is -Fun and Cute!  Not really sure how you can beat this fun and cute image, but I tried. :-)

This sloth is super cute, I love it!    This is my card.

I have loved these cute dogs from Paper Smooches Woofers and Tweeters for a long time.  The dog with the sad eyes is just the sweetest!  His friend is coming over to play!!  I blended the background with distress inks and added some blended clouds, along with trees and birds.  The dogs are colored with Copics and I added glossy accents to their noses and eyes. I know it is hard to see 'sigh'. I cut them out and adhered them to the card front. I used PS Stitches Wise Dies to create the hill and tree line.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

The challenge for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Have A Heart.  I think I have mentioned before how much I love Valentine's Day! lol So I make a lot of cards for this holiday!  Here is one I made for my grandson, who is only 3 months old (I know, I know but it is what I do). :)

The image is from Purple Onion and is colored with Copics.  The sentiment is Lawn Fawn's Claire's ABC's, this is when the MISTI comes in handy! Laying out alphabets on an acrylic block took a long time!  I put some sequins and hearts on the card front, then die cut an oval frame and put it over the image.

He really is the sweetest baby! :)

See you soon.

Supplies Used: Stamps: Purple Onion Hearts on a String, LF Claire's ABC's.  Dies: SSS Oval Stitched dies

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Ray of Sunshine.  They are featuring Dina Wakley products and I had a stencil of hers that I wanted to use on a card so this is what I came up with.

I used a stencil and tinted embossing paste to make the background.  I die cut the heart, bird, branches, leaves and adhered to the card front.  I put it all on kraft card stock.  I am on a kraft card stock kick for some reason! The images are colored with distress inks. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz's Small Talk.

Lawnscaping Challenge #123

The Lawnscaping Challenge is Sending Love.  I love Valentines Day a lot!!  My kids, who are grown, still get valentines and they just shake their heads at their mom.  :)

I made this:

I used the light bulb in Lawn Fawn's Turn Me On stamp set, and stamped it on kraft card stock.  I used Zig Brush Watercolor Markers to color them. These markers are great, you can use straight out of the marker or blend with water.  Since I wasn't using watercolor card stock I just used them with no water blending.  The colors are so vibrant.  I heat embossed, in black, the sentiment on vellum and attached it to the card front.  I added a couple of red hearts and applied glossy accents to them.  I cut out a couple of light bulbs and popped them up with some adhesive squares for dimension and I applied clear Wink of Stella to the light bulbs.   (P.S. I won this stamp and die set on one of  Lawn Fawn's Inspiration & Release Week posts.  YAY! it is soooooo cute)

Thanks for coming by!!
