Early Halloween Card

Last week I saw a video made by Nicole Spohr that inspired this card.  It was a tri-fold card and I just love how gorgeous it was.  She created a mermaid card and I decided to work on a Halloween card for my granddaughter.

There was a LOT of masking, stamping etc to make this card.  This is an Art Impressions stamp.  I realized that the whole stamp would stamp right where the fold of the card would be, so I just masked off the image on the left  and stamped it separately from the rest of the stamp.  The rest of the images are from a lot of different stamp sets.  I created masks for everything and then used Distress Oxides to blend the sky.  I stamped a fence behind the the images.  All images are colored with Zig Brush Markers on Bristol cardstock.   I colored some white tissue paper with Distress Inks (Candied Apple, Walnut Stain, Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron)  to make leaves.  I went over the colors lightly with Walnut Stain so they wouldn't be so bright and look more like fall leaves. I ripped the tissue paper into little pieces and glued with  Multi Matte Medium.  I finished it with stamping some bats and embossing a few stars. I also applied some glossy accents to the jack-o-lantern faces.

I enjoyed making this, I hope you like......
