CAS(E) this Sketch # 162

This is the sketch for CAS(E) this Sketch #162  this week.

I used a stencil and tinted embossing paste to create the card panel.  I heat embossed the images in white and then water colored using distress inks, and then die cut it.  After wrapping some twine around the card panel I mounted it on fun foam to the card front.  The succulent image is mounted on foam squares on the front of the card, over the twine.  I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I love succulents and they are hearty plants, which is good because I tend to kill plants. :)  Thank goodness my husband remembers to water!

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.

Supplies Used:
Stencil: SSS Screened Leaves.  Dies: SSS Garden of Succulents.  Stamps:  SSS Handwritten Borders. Inks: Ranger Distress Ink-Shabby Shutters, Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick

  1. Oh, this is so pretty! Super sweet take on the sketch!

  2. I'm right with you on the plants, Janet!!! But who needs plants when they can have beautiful cards like this on every surface! LOve the embossing paste!

  3. Love the stencilled background! Congrats on being selected CTS HM!
