Paper Smooches Challenge is Anything Goes this week.
I have been so busy the past week or so. My daughter's mother-in-law asked if I would make her 25 birthday cards for her ladies club, featuring the club's theme on the card. This was a challenge because I had to use the same element on every card. Sooooo I have been a little busy, but they are finished now. :) However, I am going to give a baby 'Sprinkle' for my daughter and will need to start making invitations, favors and decorations for it soon.
I made this card for the challenge this week.
I stamped this card with Paper Smooches Lovely Thoughts, Bold Blooms and Botanticals 2. I attached the tag to the card and stamped the greenery and flowers on the card front, overlapping onto the tag. I used Liquid Pearls on the flower centers. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler and I heat embossed it with Rangers Platinum embossing powder. I hope you like.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back soon, gonna go start some invitations. :)

Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge this week is Anything Goes.
I am going to send this to my friend, she needs a little silliness in her life right now. :) (Don't we all!)
This is Paper Smooches Wake Up stamp set. I colored with Copics and added glossy accents to the jam jar and the eyes on the toast. Now I want to go have toast with jam. :)
Entering into Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Color Challenge too,
over at The Daily Marker.
Thanks for coming and I'll be back soon.

June 7th Two Oh One Five
I created a card to enter into the CAS(E) this Sketch 126 using this sketch.
I think this sketch is so pretty. Here is my card.
I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper and once it dried I used it to die cut the flowers with Tim Holtz's Tattered Flowers. I distressed the edges of the flowers with Tim Holtz Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Razzle Dazzle seed beads. Have you ever worked with seed beads? They seriously have a mind of their own, bouncing and jumping all over the place. :) I finally corralled enough to use for the center of the flowers. I used a block stamp with a burlap pattern to create the card front. The Hello die is from Simon Says Stamp, I die cut it three times and glued them on top of one another and used glossy accents to give it a little oomph. I mounted the flowers on foam dots.
Gonna enter this in Kathy Racoosin's at The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge. This is my 4th entry, my goal was 5, so I just might do a few more. :)
Thanks for visiting, be back soon.....

June 6 Two Oh One Five
I was supposed to post this yesterday but forgot :(. I decided to enter another card into Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop.
This the card I created yesterday.
This is Penny Black's A Day in Paris. I love this stamp set and really don't use it enough. I stamped with StazOn, and watercolored with Sakura Koi watercolors. I used Altenew's Sketchy Cities America stamp set for the sentiment. After it had dried I masked off the images and then dipped a brush in watercolor and tapped the brush to get some droplets on the card front, I think it sorta looks like sky. :) I added enamel dots to give it a little more color. This took very little time to make, the drying time took the longest.
Also entering this card into Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Color Challenge. at The Daily Marker .
I hope you like.:)

Challenges-June 5th Two Oh One Five
I created a card that I wanted to enter into several challenges today. First here is my card:
One of the challenges is at Ellen Hutson. It's the Essentials by Ellen, Mix-It Up Challenge. The challenge is to use an Altenew product and a Essentials by Ellen product. The image is Altenews Persian Motifs and the sentiment is Essentials by Ellen Wish Big. I stamped the image in Versamark on Tim Holtz watercolor paper and then heat embossed in white, watercolored it using Sukura Koi watercolors. I used Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Border to die cut the image, adhered it to colored cardstock and then a white card front. The sentiment is heat embossed in white on black cardstock. I added Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
The next challenge is a watercoloring blog hop at Pretty Pink Posh.
I think this is a fantastic idea! Not only do you get to hop and see what great designers created, you can enter your design! ALSO when you hop along on the blog and leave comments you can win prizes! Yeah, prizes!!
Next I wanted to enter this into Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I am going to try to color something as often as I can and enter into the Coloring Challenge. I am optimistic. :)
Thanks for coming by and I hope to see you soon.

Challenges- June 4th, Two Oh One Five
First challenge I wanted to create for this week was the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge, for May 31-June 3.
I love the look of colored pencils on kraft cardstock so I decided to create one for this challenge.
The image is from Paper Smooches Perky Plants stamp set. I colored the images with Faber Castell pencils. I did put some glossy accents on the heart and the butterfly, I think it kinda shows up a bit on the heart. :) I mounted it on a piece of patterned paper and then on a kraft cardstock base. This stamp set always makes me smile, the images are so cute. I also used Simon Says Stamps Stitched Borders die and the little Circles die is from a SSS Monthly Card Kit.
Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker is having a 30 Day Color Challenge. This is actually her 2nd one, this year.
Click the link above to learn all about the challenge. I didn't participate last time, so I am going to try to link up as much as I can this time. Kathy is an amazing colorist and her videos how-to's are awesome.
That's all for now, thanks for coming by and I will see you soon.

OCC Mask-erade Day 5
I was out of town this weekend and watched the last class today. The lesson used clear heat embossing to mask. I decided to create a card using the technique that Debby Hughes demonstrated.
I die cut two hearts in cardstock to create a mask, placed the mask on water color paper, applied Versamark ink through the mask and heat set it using clear embossing powder. This created a water resist mask. I applied water color and wiped off any excess from the hearts. I heat embossed a die cut 'congrats' using Ranger's Gold embossing powder. I added a piece of patterned paper on the side, and some sequins to finish the card. Oh yeah, I also added a piece of fun foam to the back of the water colored card front to give it some dimension, the fun foam is cut slightly smaller than the card front.
This was great masking technique, I will use it again. I think this card can be used for a wedding or an engagement.
I enjoyed this class a great deal and learned a lot of new techniques. :)
Supplies Used: Dies: Simon Says Stamp Large Heart Set, Papertrey Ink Congrats. Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh
