The challenge for Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge this week is a Designer Drafts Challenge.
This is the April Sketch for the challenge.
This is what I did with the sketch.
This was created with Paper Smooches Woofers and Tweeters stamp set. The images are so sweet! To create a background, I used Versamark ink and the bone stamp in the set to create a pattern, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the paw prints on black cardstock and heat embossed in white, and cut them out. I stamped all the images, colored with Copics, and cut them out. I used glossy accents on the dog's noses, and accented the eyes and muzzle with a black glaze pen and white jelly roll pen. I wanted it to look like the little dog is waiting to play with the other dog at the top of the hill, so stinking cute!! The sentiment is heat embossed on black cardstock. I saw on a blog earlier this week that a card maker used serrated scissors to cut the end of the tag and I really liked the look. I may be using this a lot. :)
I hope you like this card as much as I do, because I am in love with the dogs!!
Copics: Dogs-N0, W1, W5, B000. Bones-E71,E74,E79
