Hi,
I was making valentines for friends and relatives and just incorporated one of those into the
Paper Smooches January Challenge, which is a 4-color challenge.
This is for my grandson, because he is nine and not really into 'mushy stuff'. He loves shaker cards so I made sure to include that in the card. The sentiment seems really appropriate for him, especially for Valentine's day. I used distress inks for the card, the four colors were: Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar and Candied Apple. I really like this color combo. I used seed beads as the shaker element. The dots on the die cut are the holly berry stamps from
Paper Smooches Holly Jolly and the little dot stamp from
Lovely Thoughts.
Hope you like I am going to go and make more cards. See you soon.
Supplies used: Stamps: Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler, Lovely Thoughts, and Holly Jolly. Dies: Paper Smooches Duo Die 2. Tim Holtz Distress inks.
Oh, this is so fun!
