Cards on Wednesday

I decided to enter Lawnscaping Challenge #100. This is their birthday celebrating 100 challenges! 

I wanted to do a birthday card, of course, and I am in need of birthday cards to replenish my stock, so it all worked out.    This is the card I made.




I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Sparrows for the image and Winter Penquin and Milo's ABC's for the sentiment.  The bird and balloons are colored with copics.  The patterned paper is also Lawn Fawn.  I did put  clear Wink of Stella on the balloons, but you can't see it that well,  :(  but it looks great IRL. 

When I was coloring the bird I think I leaned towards coloring it like a robin because I want Spring to come so badly, it has been a rough winter. :)
