Lawnscaping Challenge #113 is all about texture.
I just barely made this under the wire for the deadline, which is today!! I have been super busy, but I wanted to do this challenge. I had an idea for it, but actually that didn't work out so well, lol. But I had another inspiration and this is what I created.
I created a background with distress ink and then I cut a piece of linen in shape of a hill and distessed it a little. I created the clouds from some flannel backing I had leftover from a blanket I made. I heat embossed the scarecrow from Lawn Fawn's Happy Harvest stamp set, and painted with Zig Watercolor brush markers. The rest of the images are also from the same stamp set and watercolored as well. I think it is pretty cheeky of the crow to be sitting on the scarecrow's arm, but they do tend to be that way. :) I created a frame and enclosed the card front, and then used fun foam on the back to give it dimension and adhered it to the card base. The pumpkins have Wink of Stella and glossy accents. I think you can actually SEE the glossy accents for once. :) So lots of texture on this one!
Thanks for stopping by and hope I can get back into the card making groove. I have been super busy with my daughters baby sprinkle (shower), but it is done now so hopefully I will have more time.
Such a super cute card! Love your textured clouds! Thanks so much for playing with us at Lawnscaping, hugs, Karin
