OCC Watercolor Intermediate-Day 1

I love all the beautiful watercolor pieces I see online and really wanted to learn these techniques.  This class has been so informative and it is only the first day!! Dawn Woleslagle is the instructor and I have always loved her work, she is also the owner of Wplus9, and her products are outstanding.
Today was jam packed with a lot of information and I think I am going to have to watch the videos a couple of times to get some the info to stick! :)  I did some practice pieces, and seriously I am going to need a lot more practice.  I felt rushed today, so tomorrow I am going to take a little more time and try to get better pieces.  This is what I did today.

Wet on Wet using a balloon die and round brush.
Mixing watercolor pigment with different amounts of  water to create different shades.

I am not really happy with these results, but I will give it another go tomorrow.

See you soon!

Supplies:  Arches Hot Press 140 lb. Watercolor paper, Winsor and Newton Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow
