Online Card Class-Holiday Style-Day 1

Yesterday was actually the first day of class, but I was super busy and just got to the class today.  The theme of the class is Clean and Simple, which I love and gravitate to most of the time.  The instructors demonstrated some beautiful cards, but the example done by Laurie Willison really caught my eye.

This is how I interpreted her card.

I created the blue background by blending distress ink on the bottom third of the card.  I die cut snowflakes and heat embossed them.  Added the sentiment and some snow.  This card could not be easier to mass produce. It took very little time and can be changed up any way you want, by adding different background colors, die cuts and sentiments.

Thanks for coming by and I'll be back soon.

Supplies: Sentiment stamp-Papertrey Ink 'Tis the Season, Die Cut: Paper Smooches Snowflakes, Broken China Distress Ink, Ranger Platinum Embossing powder, Marvy Snow Pen.
